Office Administrator
Adbruf manufacture specialist surfacing and coating materials (see www.adbruf.com) which we sell worldwide from our Stalbridge, Dorset DT10 2RX site.
We seek a well-organized person who has significant experience in dealing with customers, suppliers and office admin to join our busy purchasing office. You will have excellent communication, computer and admin skills, enjoy having a wide variety of tasks and work well under pressure. A competitive salary will be offered for this new full time role.

Experienced Chemist Paint and coatings
Adbruf, based in Stalbridge DT10 2RX, manufacture a range of niche surface coatings products which we sell throughout the world, primarily into the highways and civil engineering sectors (see www.adbruf.com).
We are seeking a chemist experienced in paint and coatings technology to join our technical team. The role is a senior laboratory position and will involve product development, materials evaluation and research, along with maintaining product quality on within an ISO9001 environment

Business Development Manager - based Central England
Competitive salary (subject to experience) + bonus scheme + fully expensed car
Adbruf has been manufacturing a range of line marking , specialist coating and surfacing products for a worldwide customer base for over 40 years. We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to increase sales from existing UK accounts and to develop new business in the UK, particularly in the Midlands and the North.
You will be dealing with contractors and specifiers, looking after key accounts, identifying new projects, prospects and business opportunities and managing relationships throughout the sales process. Ideally you will have experience of selling products to either contractors or specifiers and be looking for a long term career with an established, successful organisation.
This proactive role is at the forefront of our business, building and servicing existing and new business customers, large or small, with the aim of significantly increasing turnover. A clear desire to succeed and to achieve agreed sales targets is therefore vital.
A self-starter, you will be experienced in field sales with a strong sales background and a demonstrable record of success. Specific experience of highways, construction and architectural markets would be an advantage although not essential as full product training will be given.
The role is home based and you will be responsible for managing and periodically visiting your account base throughout the Midlands and the North and liaising with our Group Head Office-based Sales and Marketing Director in Dorset. As you will regularly travel to appointments the ideal base for this role is Central England, although candidates from other locations will be considered.

Chemist – Surface Coatings
Adbruf manufacture a range of niche surface coatings products which we sell throughout the world (see www.adbruf.com).
We continue to expand our product range into new markets and seek a chemist with an interest in paint and coatings technology to join our technical team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Testing of raw materials and manufactured products
• Making formulation adjustments and problem solving
• Maintaining product quality on within an ISO9001 environment
• Research, review and identify new raw materials and technologies that may form the foundation of new/optimised coating formulations and technologies
• Assist in the development of PDS/MSDS for all new products developed together with any additional quality documentation that may be required
• Assist the Chief Chemist with planning and development of new and existing coating products and technologies
Role Requirements
• Degree in Chemistry or Polymer technology
• Some basic knowledge of the formulation and application of paints, polymers or surface coatings within an industrial environment is essential
• Outward thinking, practical person with good computer skills
• Experience in using an infrared spectrophotometer to identify compounds and investigate sample composition would also be an advantage
